We are often asked to describe the difference between a PHOTO WORKSHOP ADVENTURES experience and a NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC experience. Honestly, they couldn’t be more different. So much so that we decided to do a comparison chart for these two Cuba People-to-People Photo Adventures to illustrate the differences.
My name is Anja and I am excited to welcome you to my first “think orange” blog post. I initially struggled with what to write about and then it hit me. I must tell the story about my first encounter with Photo Workshop Adventures and how it helped shape and drive my passion for photography in the years to come.
As a leader in small group Photo Adventures around the world, we would like to take this opportunity to help clear up any concerns (or confusion) regarding future travel to Cuba. As a licensed OFAC provider of group People-to-People Educational and Photography Workshops, we are pleased to tell you that these changes will not have any major effects on our trips to Cuba. Our programs remain in place with the same itineraries we have offered for years.

HOW TO KEEP CUBAN CIGARS FRESH (after you’ve brought them back from the farm) By Michael Chinnici Smoking a cigar in Cuba is like a “rite of passage” into Cuban culture. Even if you don’t smoke (which most people don’t these days), you will likely feel compelled to take a few puffs of a world famous Cuban Cohiba cigar.…
On a recent trip to France I captured yet another example of “THE ART OF SEEING” technique we teach on our Photo Workshop Adventure Vacations.
The Art of Seeing is the ability to observe your environment, look ahead, look around, and hunt for potential photos that might not otherwise be so obvious.
