I was fortunate enough to experience the hotel just weeks after its grand opening this past May. After getting a personal tour from Otilia, the hotel’s lovely “Lady in Red”, all I could say was “WOW, just WOW!”
I had patiently watched the hotel being built over the past 4 years and was eager to see it completed. Knowing it was going to be a Kempinski branded hotel meant Havana was going to finally have a luxury hotel in every sense of the word. I can personally tell you that there is nothing about this hotel that will disappoint you. From the beautifully appointed rooms to the rooftop pool and bar, the views of the Capital Building and the luxurious Spa Albear by Resense. It’s located across from Parque Central perfectly situated between Old Havana and Central Havana. The main floor of the shopping arcade has high-end shops (and even a camera store featuring Nikon, Leica, Canon and more).
I’m excited to say that the new Gran Hotel Manzana Kempinski La Habana is now our preferred Havana hotel on all of our Cuba Photo Workshop Adventures.
