SHOOTING WITH AN IPHONE

Technological advances in the production of today’s cell phone are increasingly fast. We can see this incredible progress in the quality of video recording as well as image quality.
If you compare the quality of some compact P & S cameras and cell phones, we can see the new generation mobile phones have amazing results almost better than some less expensive P & S cameras.
This new technology makes mobile phones very powerful devices, with advances in mechanical stabilization of photos, video, dual lens technology and high resolution. Recently cell phone manufacturers have also began to explore the possibility of shooting in RAW format, which makes it a highly advanced mobile device.
All the time we have the ability to process photos but now with opportunity to shoot in RAW options are now much bigger.
Why has there been such a rush for quality, processing and playback? One reason, social media. Social Media has gained momentum so that every second on various networks around the world people upload millions and millions of photos.
Everyone wants to place their content on the web, with the most professional looking photos without retouches.
That’s the reason why Facebook bought Instagram, because of the rapid and advanced processing of photos. Instagram is currently one of the fastest growing applications.
There are currently a great variety of post processing applications on the market. These applications start from simple default settings on social media/camera phones to professional stand-alone applications for photo editing.
The process of choosing new applications is honestly not an easy task. In this post we will mention ones that we think are good quality, and used frequently.
The vast majority of images are being processed by Snapseed. I think that this is one of the best and simplest, and also one of the top 10 applications for photo editing. This application was developed by Google, and is being upgraded and improved everyday. Recently Google implemented text layering features, which can also be used to add watermarks.
Also I’m an Adobe tools user. Lightromm CC is what allows me to use LR app for the iPhone. This is an excellent applications of Adobe, as pictures and catalogs can be synchronized with a PC application and visa verse. The tools are similar, but are not represented in the quantity of the computer app.
Since simplicity that we need on a mobile phone application is more than satisfactory. Of them versions of iOS, you can take photos in RAW format but only through LR application. Of course treatment and enhancement should be much more efficient than when processing JPEG images.
The Enlight application requires little practice because the logic of processing through the layers, grant excellent possibilities of cloning, clone stamp, deleting and processing details of the photo.
A long time ago I used the VISCO app. Actually for nominal charge, you can buy beautiful plug-ins, so if you’re not skilled in the process you will use amazing plugins. Also the ability to tweak and change plugin strings is a huge opportunity to improve images. .
Over and iWatermark, are two very useful applications if you want to put photographers signatures, various texts, logos and insert other photos on your original one. Specially OVER app is great because you can add or remove layers with text or patterns, which is also very useful.

I like to utilizing mobile, more and more. Sometimes I transfer pictures form my professional cameras and I use some of these apps on my mobile so that I can post them instantly.
